I last saw you about 20 years ago and our friendship goes back to age 12 when we both attended St. Cyprian
school on Pharmacy. I stopped their recently and looked around hearing echoes of the past , everything looking
like we had left it, 38 years ago. You will be remembered my friend by many. Franca, You've lost so much in a relatively short period of time. Take comfort in knowing that Mike is no longer suffering and with your parents

We grew up together and shared many good times. Life took us in different directions for a short while but we returned to each other knowing that what we shared shaped the lives we lived. I admire the fight you took on only to be taken far too soon. Words cannot express the sadness one may feel in these times. Dearest Michael, Uncle Ralph and I just came from evening mass where we lit 2 candles (one from your uncle and one from me) to celebrate your birthday. I know that these candles are only symbolic, just to make us feel better, because the real celebration today was not here, but with the Angels and your mom and dad. No one can sing "Happy Birthday" like the angels can. We miss you, but we are at peace knowing that you are at peace. Michael bring peace into our lives. We need you to look out for us. This morning, I was awakened by someone calling my name, (I was asleep and all alone in the house). Was that you reminding me that today was your birthday. How could we forget.
Lord make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand, to be loved, as to love, for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Franca ...our deepest condolences to you and your family. I went down to visit Michael and was so sad not to be able to visit him!! The nurses would not disclose anything ...I was hoping he was just moved and tried to find him . Sometimes you can meet someone for a short time and for some reason they make an impact on your life. Your brother was that person for me ...i know he went to visit my dad which truly proves how amazing he was.
