Mr. Kowbuz was my 4th grade teacher at Silver Creek. I was looking up some of my favorite teachers growing up and I am so sorry to hear the news of his passing.
Mr. Kowbuz was a very influential teacher to me growing up, he always expected the best out of his students and I worked harder in life because of him. He used to say "good man" to me and other students when we would do something well. I think that phrase describes Mr. Kowbuz well. His lessons will forever live on through his students.

To Barbara, my friend Diane, and her Mother Vera,
Barbara,
My heartfelt condolences to you & your children. As I recall all the stories Diane told me over the years, you & your children were the sunshine of his life.
Diane,
My deepest condolences over the loss of your Brother. I know you will miss him terribly but the fond memories you have of him will give you the strength you need.
To Danny's Mother Vera,
The loss of a child is the most painful loss we will ever endure. May God give you the courage you need.
I will remember Danny as the young Dude who cut off our friend Phyllis at a backyard BBQ at the Kowbuz home.
Danny was bartender.

I will remember Danny as someone who always greeted me with a warm and friendly smile when I came by the house on Delaware Avenue to play with his younger sister Diane. Always kind and gentle, he never complained when asked to retrieve the badminton birdie or ball from the neighbours' yard for us. Later, in adulthood, he always had a cheery opening whenever we met up at Diane and Peter's various get-togethers. Danny, you are at peace now and you will be missed. Our deepest condolences to the Kowbuz and Finch families.
