Sam was a strong, generous man. Small in stature but with the heart of a lion. I love the strong family bonds he held so dear. He was wise and good hearted and always managed to make me feel special. Sam fought so hard, brave and stoic to the end. He will be sorely missed

I had the privilege of playing golf with Sam in the Whitby networking golf league and can say he was a true pleasure to know and to be around.
His constant smile and great demeanor brought a smile to everyone around him and he is deeply missed by all of us.
