To Carmen, Joey, Paul & My Dear Friend and Sister Trina who is always close to my heart:
I have been trying to gather my thoughts and sort out my emotions over the past few days which is nothing in comparison to the grief and devastation you all are going through especially so soon after Dad's passing. I am so sorry for your great loss of a magnificent woman and mother. I truly loved Mom.
I remember the first time I met Mom. She included me, accepted me as a "regular" person, never judged me and, over the time I was blessed with her presence, she was always kind and respectful to me. I loved our talks. I admired her quiet strength, diligence, patience, and easy going nature. She did not speak much at times but when she spoke, after attentively listening, was most profound. I am so glad I got to see Mom (and Dad) a couple of years ago. I did tell them they'd always be Mom and Dad to me.
I don't know what else to say except that I pray that all of you (and your families) feel the love and comfort of the Lord Jesus Christ and may He give you strength beyond measure.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Evelyn, a beautiful person whom I have known for 50 plus years, and also knew her late husband Frank. These two have been in love ever since we were all teenagers together. They were both awesome musicians, and shared their God given talents with all. My heart goes out to the family to Jimmy and Allen who we also hung out with, back in the day, even though we all have not seen each other for many years, the memories never faded once we all connected again through social media. My thought and prayers are with you all. Frank and Evelyn are now back together, and I know they are holding each other all while God is holding them both. I pray that God will be with the family and friends to help them through these trying times. God said 'he will never leave us nor forsake us', and 'he will never give us more than we can bare.'.
