Obituary of Sharon Bernadette Haggard Bailey

HAGGARD BAILEY, Sharon (Employee of Durham Region at Hillsdale Estates)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on December 18, 2018.  Loving & devoted wife of Desmond for over 20 years, (together over 30 years).  Cherished & devoted mother of Sherise, Christopher, Christiana and David.  Beloved daughter of Millicent and Baltaza.  Dear sister of Anne-Marie, Roger and Raymond.  Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many friends both here and abroad.  The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the care team in the critical care unit at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, and to Dr. Pohani and the care team at North York General Hospital.  Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Saturday, December 29^th from 9:00-11:00am with a service to celebrate Sharon’s life in the DeStefano Chapel at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, Ajax.  In memory of Sharon, donations may be made to Dominion Miracle Centre Building Fund.  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
