Brother, not a day goes by that I dont look back at that horrific night when I awoke to you laying on the couch next to me, and as hard as I tried I couldnt bring you back, and that guilt will haunt me forever, and having to look your dad in the face at the hospital with no answer because i truly do not know to this day what you took,i miss you brother, every day, always in my prayers, always my brother,,,,

Quinton was a student in my English class when he was in Grade 10. Although I’ve taught hundreds of students in the past 10 years, I would never forget Quinton. Was he on time for class? Rarely. But did he brighten the room when he entered? Yes. He was funny, inquisitive, authentic and had a strong sense of justice. I’ll always remember how obsessed he was with Lil Wayne and how much he loved and admired his dad. I am so sad for all of his family and friends who will miss him so much.
