I was very saddened to learn of Bobs passing. I worked with Bob in the Reactor Safety Engineering Department at Pickering Nuclear . Bob was a decent human being and we all had a great deal of respect for him . I really enjoyed his witty sense of humor and respected his professional, dedicated approach to his work. He was a good man . My condolences to his family . May he rest in peace .

Rob and Jeff,
I’ve been thinking about your dad and I want to share my first memories of him with you. I was very young and living in Halifax. My father was away at sea and your dad was here at university and staying with us. I remember him taking time from his schedule to give me my first ride in an exciting car .. he had an MGA at that time. He took me to the university to drop off a project paper that was due and then drove me around Halifax. As a young impressionable child, I was super impressed. Your dad was a good man and I’ll always remember his kindness and the love he had for his family. Eileen and I wish we could be there to meet you young men as adults. Our thoughts are with you and your family in this difficult time.

Dear Jeff and Rob,
Our hearts go out to you at this very sad time. Manny has fond memories of going to high school with your dad in Corner Brook graduating in the same year. About six years later, we reconnected again, this time at the Willowdale Corps in North York, Ontario. Your mom and dad's support and friendship at that time was very meaningful. As young families we shared many a New Year together and lots of "get-togethers" at significant events. Your dad was a special man, always displaying an even temperament, spiritual strength and a fine musician. Cherish your memories.

I am so saddened by this news!
I knew the Hilliard family, from a young girl, and I babysat, Jeffrey, (and then Came), Kevin, (and then), Robbie!
SO my heart especially goes out to Jeff and Robbie! My heart is sad with you!
Both your Mom and Dad were always wonderful to me, and both of our families, .. shared, and supported each other, .. emotionally and Prayerfully, .. as both families went through so many health issues!
I pray that you will feel God’s emense love, and inner comfort, ... as you both go through such grieving!
You have many family and friends, ... who are there for you, for support, .. so please ask for support, when needed!

To the Hilliard Family,
We were saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We have many wonderful memories of him as a young boy and later a youth growing up in the corps here at Corner Brook Citadel. He was a valued member of our corps band who showed great musical ability and spiritual growth.
We shared times of fun and fellowship during his visits home over the years.

My relationship with Bob goes back over 60 years. Bob was one of my best childhood friens, growing up in Corner Brook, Nfld/Labrado in the early 50’5. Endless hours of playing together
at my place and his place was so special. He was a great friend. Unfortunately our working lives took us in different geographical dierctions and we finally hookup in the sunner of 2017 in Ontario. Had lots of laughs reiimising about our lives back then. His mom and dad and family were all great folks. He will be missed. Dave Fitzpatrick, Parksville, BC.
