So sorry for your loss.
I live in Missouri now and just saw this obituary.
Jacques will be remembered for his kindness.
My parents (George and Jeannette Chartrand)were good friends of his
and spent much time together visiting (50+ yrs) back.
It brought my mother and I such joy and comfort seeing his familiar face at church on Sundays.
I will always remember the smile he brought to her face.
Both my parents are deceased now too but the gentleness of this generations will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of Jacques’ passing. We wish we had the right words to share. Please just know that we care and are thinking and praying for you and your family.
We will always remember the good times visiting in Oshawa, in Port Austin, in Georgian Bay and all the great back porch sitten and sippen that we had. We have soooo many great memories.
Jacques and I (Chris) had so many great experiences hunting and fishing and just being together. Some things that will live in my mind forever are fishing in Georgian Bay, moose hunting on a fly-in excursion where Jacques’ bushman skills really came to light, walleye fishing in Port Austin and a very special invite to join him and his brothers in northern Quebec for his family’s annual fish camp. That meant so much to be included and I had such a great time and experience. Those memories will live with me forever.
Our deepest condolences and prayers for you as you journey through this most difficult time.
