Obituary of Ion Dejan

Passed away peacefully at home in his bed with his wife Maria by his side on May 12, 2019 at the age of 89 years.  Beloved husband of Maria for 64.5 years.  Loving father of Valentin (Christine) and Camelia (Liviu). Tiţu the cherished grandfather of Andrei (Kristelle), John (Irene), Stefan, Daniel and cherished great grandfather of Naomi, Sadie and Matei.  Dear brother of Ortanza, Florea and Victor.  Ion will be fondly remembered as a loving family man by his nieces, nephews, family and friends here and in Romania.

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport), 905-440-3595 on Tuesday, May 14^th from 4:00-8:00pm with prayers at 7:00pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at St. Stefan the Great Romanian Orthodox Church, 261 Bloor Street East, Oshawa (corner of Bloor Street East and Ritson Road) on Wednesday, May 15^th at 11:00am.  Interment will follow at Thornton Cemetery.
