I worked with Ben @CP. He was always kind to everyone around him. Very social and funny. A great guy to be around. I heard about his battle from a friend and I was heartbroken to hear that this was happening to such a good person. My condolences to his wife and children. I'm so sorry for your loss. All the best to his family during this very difficult time.

Ben, we've been speaking to each other for well over a year now as our diagnosis were fairly similar to each other. Comparing notes and checking up on each other had been something I looked forward to every couple of weeks. The last time we spoke together was about three weeks ago and everytime we ended our conversations, it was with a "we need to get together for a coffee". It hurts my heart that this never came to pass as our schedules were always about family, treatment and recovery and we could never seem to coincide our timetables. Thank you for listening and sharing - I will miss our conversations my friend.

We had the great pleasure of meeting Ben and his family a few years ago when we met on our street. He was an incredibly welcoming neighbour, always ready to chat about his kids and sports. You could just tell he was a family man- always outside with his wife and kids. We would like to offer our sincerest condolences to Karen, Austin and Dylan. You are in our prayers.

I worked with Ben for a number of years at the post office. And I had the privilege of working beside him for about a year where I really got to know him quite well. Ben was one of those guys who absolutely everybody liked. And he would laugh every single day! He loved being around people and joking with them. He talked about his wife Karen alot and his kids Austin and Dylan and how they were doing in their sports. I could tell that's where his true passion in life was... his family. He loved his family more than anything.
My condolences to Karen, Austin, Dylan, and the rest of Ben's family. I will really miss him...

I was lucky to meet and work with Ben at Canada Post. He was a great friend and coworker to have. When I ran into him a few times during his battle he amazed me with his positive attitude and bravery. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Our hearts are deeply saddened today and will forever hold a place for Ben. He was one amazing father, husband and friend. We really enjoyed getting to know him over the past few years. He had a great sense of humour, spoke freely and we always enjoyed being around him. Amazing role model for his kids and the ones that surrounded him.
