Peacefully surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday February 5th 2020, at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Carmen. Loving father of Lara (Darryl). Cherished nonno of Aidan and Allegra. Loving son of Aldina and the late Antonio. Brother of Donatella (Roberto). Brother -in- law of Rick (Angie). Uncle of Steven (Bren), Eric (Annie) and Giulia (Fabio). Giacomo will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Saturday February 8th from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at DeStefano Funeral Home at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
