Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, May 28th, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Ben Jackson (1996). Loving mother of Leigh (Friedemann), Gail (Frank), Shelley (Rick) and the late Brad. Cherished Nanny of Kirsten (Geoff), Matthew (Leah), Amanda, Daniel, Corey, Brad (Chrissy), Breanna (Wade), and Blaire. Great Nanny of Logan, Chloe, Griffin, Mathias, Keenen, Jase, Natalie, Emery, Hayden, and one great-grandbaby on the way. Loving aunt of Sharon (Dennis), Sandra (Reg), and Steve (Marg). June will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, friends, and those that had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440- 3595. Due to COVID 19, please understand that the Memorial Service is private and for immediate family members only. There will be a live-stream webcast of the memorial service for those that wish to view the service. If you are interested in viewing the webcast, please contact one of the immediate family for further information. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date when we can all be together. If desired, memorial donations to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre would be appreciated.
