Obituary of Margaret Lamb

LAMB, Margaret Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by the love of her family and best friend. Cherished daughter of Thelma and the late David House. Loving sister of David House, Mary Cranfield, John (Lisa) House, Donald (Stephanie) House and the late Robert House. Margaret will be fondly remembered by nieces Chantelle, Alexis and MacKenzie, nephew Ian, great niece Victoria, great nephews Jonathan and Nicholas, and great great nieces Abigail and Vera. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff and doctors of 6C - Lakeridge health Oshawa and the staff of the Durham Region Cancer Centre. The family will receive friends for visiting at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Dr., Oshawa, ON, (905-440-3595) (south side of Taunton Rd, just east of Thornton Rd.) on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Embassy of the Kingdom of God, 416 Taunton Rd W., Oshawa on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11:00am with visiting at the church for one hour prior. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Margaret, donations may be made to the Embassy Church - "Heat the Street" (an outreach in downtown Oshawa providing food and clothing to those in need).
