Obituary of Stella Marie Soper

 

Stella Marie Soper (June 9, 1937)

 

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa (Palliative Care Unit) on Sunday December 27th 2020.  Beloved wife of the late William Henry (Bill) Soper. Loving mother of Gary (Cathie).  Cherished Bamba to Brandon & Brianna (Troy Adams).  Great Bamba to Owen Adams.   Will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Andrea Watson (Roy), Mary Lou Sprunt and her many nieces, nephews and friends.  She is joyfully reunited with Bill, her parents Harry and Marjorie Brandon as well as her brothers Russell(Shirley), Gary(Helen) and many others who have gone before her.  Thank you to all the staff at Harmony Hill Retirement Residence for their loving care over the last four years.   

 

As were her wishes, there will be no funeral service and a private cremation has taken place.  Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life will occur at a date to be determined.  If desired, memorial donations to the (Humane Society of Durham Region) would be appreciated.
