I will miss you Uncle Russell. I admire how you kept your family close with love, jokes and advice. I always loved bringing my mom to see you and the way the two of you would talk about old times and then bicker about who’s version was true. The two of you would always sit so close to each other. It breaks my heart to post these here but thank you for being a grandpa to my sons.Here is my tribute to you via these pictures...your back to San Fernando Boys R.C.School, Maracas beach,in all their glory like a new dating couple with the love of his life Aunty Angela,typical babysitter putting Cristiano to sleep but sound asleep himself and finally with family at his sister in law Shirley's birthday.These are some of our "Trini" moments with you in 2017.Blessings and Best wishes to you on your next journey as this chapter closes.We will not extend sympathies but extend our love and comfort to his family...our family, and be mindful of Uncle Russell's memories.They are cherished and he is truly missed. My first year of College Papa would get up at 4am every morning to drive me to the bus stop so I could get to school. He would make sure to get back there early in the evening so he could pick me up. The jokes although you was left wondering what was the punch line you couldn’t help but laugh . Every niece was your favorite niece lol . This is a photo of my Uncle at around 18 or so. My Uncle Russell was a kind man, who had a ready smile and a rapier wit. He would go to the ends of the earth to help his family, whether it was his children, brother or sister, or his nephew. He was never too busy to share the vast knowledge he accumulated over the years, whether it be technical, practical, or spiritual. He could do anything from helping to change the transmission in a car,to correcting the calculus equations in your homework, to cooking a dalpourie roti on a tawa. Rest, Uncle Russell. I will do my best to follow your example, helping family wherever I can. Your nephew, Kevin.

Uncle Russell was so bubbly with his constant joking and laughter. The world is alot emptier without him in it. Even when he was unwell he would still help once able. May he rest in peace. He will be greatly missed. Love you always Uncle.

This picture will be how I always remember you with a full head of hair that never seemed to get gray lol, and whenever he read a book his hands will automatically run his hands throughout his hair periodically. The memories of you painstakingly helping mw with my homework during elementary school lives permanently in my memory. The beach house outings during Easter time in Mayaro and Los Iros me running early to the beach before anyone awakes, they were great times and the most pleasant memories. Your guidance and love for me as difficult as I was I will never forget. Aunty Angela, Stephen, Tisha, Alisa and Rory would always be my family and have my eternal love. I promise that I would look out for them for you as much as I can. Thank you for teaching me to play cards which I have now passed down to my Kids and let me tell you they love All Fours (lol) and I can only hope they themselves can pass the fun down to their kids and it will be all because of you.
