To my beautiful Karen. So many memories to share. Most recent over the past few years it was dinner at The Keg every 6 weeks or so with Karen, Pam and myself. We would meet at 5:00 and always close the place down. Then we would talk and laugh for an hour in the parking lot afterwards. Finally we would hug and always say see you soon. It was never good bye. It never will be. I would be home at midnight. Rob always asked me how we could talk so much! It was easy. We shared happy and sad stories and I truly know what it is to have a friend. In my heart, we are still standing in the parking lot in the dark, laughing, talking and hugging and never saying good bye. I love you my sweet friend. See you again soon. Much love and forever grateful, Beverley.

I am truly saddened to hear about Karen. I was blessed to know Karen for the last nine years and during that time she provided lots of good laughs, stories and goings on with her family. She always called me her “cancer friend” but I said it was “fate friend”. I miss you dear friend. Seonaidh Mackintosh

Dear Paddy and Your Family
Your Mom was much too young to take leave of the future you were all to share. We hope that there is some easing of the sadness with the knowledge that Karen's long battle is over. Our deepest condolences to you.
Sincerest sympathy, Gary Pottruff and Marie Verschuuren

Karen was truly one of the very best hearts that added laughter and love to this crazy world. I’ll miss sharing photos of our grandchildren, exchanging funny family stories and our love of wine. She adored her family and cherished every single minute of family fun. I will miss her very much. Pam (Goobie) West

Karen will be remembered as a hard working, compassionate nurse who made every situation better with her smile and great sense of humour. I always looked forward to working a shift with Karen. Even when she was struggling with her failing health, Karen found the energy to enquire about her visitors lives - remembering the names of her visitors children and pets. Karen fought with everything she had to spend more time with her husband, children and grandchildren; her great love for her family gave her the strength to keep fighting. I will miss Karen, but I will never forget her. Rest In Peace, Karen - you fought a good fight!❤️

Our deepest sympathy to you Mike and your family. She was your perfect match and could just Iight up a room. She was so warm and kind and had such a beautiful smile, you just couldn't help but smile back at her. Some of our fondest memories are of times spent with you and Karen over these many years.
The world is short a few smiles now.
Love Doug and Terri

Our hearts go out to you all. Years ago we shared many an arena visit with your family, very fond and fun memories. On a personal note I can unequivocally say there was no match anywhere for Karen’s warmth, humour, and story telling. I ran into Karen 2 or 3 years ago and had a lovely catch up at Costco of all places...her journey at that time had already been a long one. What a legacy she has left with us all and what wonderful memories to help you through this most difficult time. Love Jennifer, Bill, Greg, Ali Williams
