I just now heard the sad news about Tims passing. I moved out of country. Tim was a great guy, I knew him back when he was still dating Jocyline and where living Bathurst \St. Clair. I would catch a ride with the two of them to the gym every evening. We also worked together in bars as doormen. R.I.P. Tim.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Tim's family. Tim, you were incredibly kind and compassionate when it came to your clients (many of whom you referred to as family). The passion you demonstrated in helping people was so genuine and truly rare to come by. For that, and countless other reasons, you will be missed.

Tim, Why did you have to go so soon. You had so much more to live for, and of all people, more of you on this earth and would have been as close a blessing as one could get from a friend. I’m sad beyond words for your family. I’m shocked and really upset for them, and I am enraged feel how wrong and unfair this was to you. Larger than life. Real in all you did throughout life. And despite the geographic distance between us over the past few years, there was never a time I didn’t feel connected to you as a friend, and as one of my first supports where truth be told, the first door I knocked on as kid, you opened and (as intimidating as you were) you invited me in asked me a tone of hard questions, listened, and then told not to put up a sign and not to come back unless I won the election lol From that moment, I like to think that we always had one another’s respect, because dear friend, and passionate gentleman, you certainly had and will always have mine. Rosie and I are going to miss you, very much, and I can’t imagine how much Joc and your beautiful girls will miss you as a generous husband and impeccable father. It really sucks to say good by like this Big Tim, and I won’t…Instead I’ll say, thank you, and may God Bless your memory my dear olde friend.
With deepest condolences,
Tito-Dante Marimpietri and Family

Tim and I reconnected at the Lakehouse out in Quinte West along with my wife Rosalind on August 28th, 2021. Sadly, Jocelynne had to return to the city and we were not able to meet the love of Tim's life. This was my first time seeing Tim face to face in over thirty years. For 3-4 hours, it was like we had never been apart.
We both knew how to carry a conversation and we were like two school girls in playground laughing and giggling about old times and recent times and both of our adventures in business and family since we last met. We sounded so similar in our work ethic and ideas about life that Roz interrupted us a couple of times and asked "Are you sure he is not a brother you never told me about"?
One such story from our teen years involved climbing up on the family's old red brick house roof via the T.V. antennae, in Bowmanville with a few dozen or so eggs. We had to be 30' or more in the air trying to hit every vehicle that drove along King St. At one point we heard a vehicle but couldn't see it. As soon as we thought it would be in range we fired. Damned if we didn't connect all our eggs with a police car.
The cops called for back up and pounded on the Antennae Tower with their sticks yelling for us to come down. We just laid flat on our backs and giggled looking up at the starry sky. They even went to the door and told Mom that they thought her son & others were up on the roof throwing eggs. Mom told them that couldn't be and that they must be mistaken, as Tim was in Fenelon Falls visiting his Dad.
The police hung outside for awhile but eventually they drove off. We climbed down off the roof and went into the house having to pass by Mom on the way to Tim's room. She looked at us and asked "What have you boys been up to"? We giggled and said "Nothing much" and made our way to Tim's room. She didn't press us and we didn't volunteer anymore information and that seemed good enough at the time.
Saturday August 28th was an afternoon I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am so glad that we got to see each other on our very busy trip back to Southern Ontario.
Our deepest condolences to the Whyte family and all the friends and acquaintances who came to know Tim and Family. R.I.P. Brother!

I attempted to leave this story under 'memories' but, like Tim, we are both long winded; Tim would say that the small space was an attempt to stifle my speech;) I am so glad that Tim and I reconnected this year after decades apart. Tim never believed in remembering lost friends/family only in their most shining light, but rather in tall tales and laughs. So first, I must say, I speak of a tale and time when we were teenagers being teenagers at his apartment above the Upholstery Shop. Tim would order 4-5 extra-large pizzas to addresses both before and after his place, that way a delivery car would always have extra pizzas when it arrived there, either at the beginning or end of it’s journey, instructing them to go around to the backdoor. As the delivery kid banged on the door, someone would go and grab a ‘car’ pizza (we were kids). The driver none the wiser ending his delivery short one pizza;) I can still picture us up in the kitchen laughing stuffing our faces all feeling guilty, but very full;) Tim’s laugh never changed. I think Tim would laugh at this old story, in fact, it reflects his early ingenuity;) I didn’t ’t see Tim again until a chance passing on Front Street in Toronto 20 years later, it is easy to reconnect with honest good people, and we did in that very fleeting moment, both our eyes twinkled with that smile or recognition. I am so sorry for your family’s loss; I hope you find solace in the memories and knowledge that your dad and husband was a unique and good guy. He carried our small-town heart to the big world. I also know that he would want each and every one of you to stay healthy and happy. My sincerest condolences.
