0ur thoughts and prayers go out to Clarence, Linda and Family, and Doug's soul mate Angelle Deschamps Ritchie. Doug was a great musician and we have had many times where we had the pleasure to hear him play and sing at Jamboree's and Brooklin Friday nights. My greatest memory was singing at open mic with Doug, Clarence and their band.

Like everyone else its so hard to believe Doug has passed. We had some great great times, when we were young he was always so much fun to play music with and be around .
We played some nice places as well as some not so nice places where you had to go down two steps physically and socially however it never seemed to phase Dougie. He would always make the gig great where ever we were. I can still picture looking over at him on stage and seeing his big beautiful smile. As we all know he was a great musician but to me he was a greater person and friend

My first memory of Doug was of a very young boy, maybe 2 or 3, strumming on a little red guitar.
