The Commemorative Tree Program allows us to pay tribute to Irene by purchasing a park tree for installation in a Town of Whitby public park along with a plaque.
Your family may visit this tree for years to come and remember how much Irene was loved by all of us in an industry she had such passion. This tree will be planted in the Spring of 2022.

Every person needs a ‘no matter what’ friend. Someone they can call, ‘no matter what.' Someone, they don’t have to explain themselves to, ‘no matter what.' That person for me was Irene.
Irene was my best friend. We bonded together like sisters from the first moment we met. Simply put, we just got each other. We laughed, we dreamed, we worked hard, we shared a common vision and we accomplished so much in our short few years together.
I’m at a loss on how to move forward. I’m sad. I’m angry. I cry. I smile at all the beautiful memories I have of Irene and of the wonderful times we shared.
My friend Irene was a rare ray of sunshine who shined bright on the coldest, darkest days. There will be many dark days ahead, but every time the sun shines bright, I know she will be looking down on all of us. Nudging us to get on with life. To love each other and cherish every day. To travel, to explore, to LIVE.
Irene had a big generous heart. She had a kind and loving nature. She loved to explore our world and share her experiences with everyone, especially her family and friends.
I will miss you, Irene. I will never forget our special bond, and I will see you on the other side one day. Until that time comes, I wish you everlasting peace, my friend.
