Obituary of Betty Martin

 

Martin: Betty  Caroline   ( Retired General Motors Canada )

Peacefully at Fairview Lodge Whitby on Friday November 26^th, 2021, in her 91^st year. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.  Her love of everything Christmas, including her large collection of Dickens Village houses, and one room devoted to Christmas year-round, along with her ‘Community In Blooms’ award-winning gardens, were always appreciated by everyone who knew her.  Betty was an excellent seamstress, making many of her own clothes, and she loved music (Xmas especially!) played loudly on her stereo.  Betty spent many happy hours at the family cottage in years past, swimming & enjoying boat rides.

As were Betty’s wishes, a private cremation and service will be held. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
