MULLINS; Lawrence Edward (WWII Veteran)
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday, May 16, 2014, in his 97th year. Devoted husband of Beverley (nee Hunt). Beloved father of Lorne (Jane), Marnelle, Michael (Dawn), Gerald (Susan). Cherished grampa of Christopher, Steven, Dawn, and Jackson. Predeceased by his brothers Leonard, William (Elinor) Frederick, Gerald, and his sister Margaret. Survived by sisters-in-law Lois, Harriet, and Pierrette. Son of the late Mary and Angus Mullins. Lawrence will be fondly remembered by Gordon and Dianne, Annette, and his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Wynfield Retirement Residence and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their compassion and wonderful care. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595, on Wednesday, May 21st from 12:00noon until the time of service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. In memory of Lawrence, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
