Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those saddened today by such a wonderful lady who touched so many lives. You did a wonderful job painting a picture of this special lady in your story of her life. I knew her from Holy Redeemer church and she had a beautiful smile and a kind word for everyone she met. She is causing trouble with all her siblings up there and no doubt has added her mason jar to the family collection!

Deepest sympathies with all of you in Ethel’s passing.
She was a very special Christian. I enjoyed her company at St. Vincent’s Kitchen in Oshawa with Gerry and Bernice.
They were all special friends and founding members of Holy Redeemer Parish in Pickering.
May the Lord have mercy on her soul.

So sorry to hear this news. Condolences to her family. I spent countless Sunday with Ethel at Orchard Villa, sharing prayers and communion service with the residents. The first years were with Gerry and Ethel, then Ethel on her own. She was a joy to be around. Rest in peace sweet soul.
