Deeply saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I had the pleasure of being one of Jim's clients when I worked for Instructional services at Carleton university, and Jim was helping to install instructional technologies into our classrooms. It was a challenging time trying to balance restricted budgets with the emerging needs of teaching faculties, but Jim's good will, gentle humour, and gentlemanly approach made even the hardest days better.
My sincere condolences to Jim's family and friends. I will miss him

I was saddened to hear that Jim passed away. My thoughts are with Sharon and family.
Jim and I worked together for a number of years at Smith Corona Marchant. After I left to join Sharp Electronics Canada I hired him as a National Sales Manager and we continued expanding our lives.
We enjoyed many good times together fishing, skiing, and business trips. I can remember one with Jim and Sharon and my wife on a trip to Quebec City. When we left Oshawa it was 33 degrees and when we arrived in Quebec City it was 15 degrees none of us had warm clothes and Sharon had a bunion and could hardly walk to look for warmer clothes.
It is sad to see Jim leave us at his young age. Knowing Jim I am sure he is looking down on us and saying everything is OK.

Sharon and Family, We were so saddened to learn of Jim’s sudden passing. He was a lover of life and his family. It was great to sit with him and discuss and solve the issues of the world. We had such a great stay that time in Bethel. May God’s comfort be with you in the days ahead as you cherish the many memories. Thinking of You.
