Cindy was one of my first friends when my family moved to Oshawa when I was a teen. We were great friends all through high school and went to so many concerts and hockey games together (me a Leaf fan and her a Bruins fan!). Although our lives took different paths, we always stayed in touch throughout the years. I’ll always remember Cindy for her thoughtful nature and big heart. I’ll miss her. ❤️

My sister Cindy, so many fond memories that we've all been blessed with. I remember as children growing up, you could always count on Cindy to have your back and then on into adulthood as well. Cindy was also extremely supportive to me and my late wife and our 21-year battle with multiple sclerosis. Cindy will always be with us and will continue to shape all of our futures.
Thank you Lily. Love Keeba

My beautiful friend Cindy had a heart of gold. Her energy was contagious. She loved her Nicolas. She planned parties for Nick and his friends all of the time…..BBQ, lasagna, spaghetti dinners. She coached Nick’s soccer team. She loved the kids and they loved her in turn. Her mantra was Nick, and then it was Nick and Bree, and then it was Winry. I will miss her dearly.

My heartfelt condolences to her of Cindy’s friends and family
I was probably introduced to Cindy around 44 years ago. She and my mother both worked at AG Simpson in South Oshawa. I worked with her brother Tommy and her late brother Timmy, my wife attended school with her brother Timmy at GL Roberts Cindy lived life with passion, this world will be a little quieter without her. Rest in peace, Cindy.

Cindy was a great sister-in-law and an all round great person. She was very considerate, conscientious and caring. She was a great aunt to many, a great mom to Nick and a great wife to Dave. She was a great cook and hard worker. The only thing that she lacked was her decision making in choosing a hockey team to cheer for. She will be greatly missed by many.

Cindy was definitely a no nonsense kinda gal but had a great sense of humour and loved talking to her many customers ( friends) at Lear Ajax. She shared her love of her family with all of us. I will miss her very much and my heart goes out to her family. My sincere condolences.

My husband, Charlie and I met Cindy through our son Robert’s in-laws, Jill and Greg Browning. Jill and Cindy were besties. Cindy helped with the catering for my daughter-in-law Melissa’s bridal shower. She also attended Melissa‘s baby shower and I would see her from time to time over the years. We also connected online through social media. I found her to be such a kind hearted and lovely woman. Both my husband and I were deeply saddened to hear of her sudden passing. She often spoke of her son and granddaughter, and I know how devoted she was to her family. There are some people in life who just leave their mark on your soul, and she was one of those people. She will be dearly missed and I pray for the comfort of her family during this difficult time. May she rest eternally in peace.
Much love, Mary and Charlie Bartolo.
