(April 21st 1942 – March 6th 2016)
After a hard fought battle with Multiple Myeloma, on Sunday March 6th, 2016, surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of 47 years, to Eva. Loving Father of Lori–Ann (Diego Najera), and Cindy (Rob Stuart). Doting Grandpa to Gabriel and Maya Najera, Jayden, Sydney and Rylan Stuart. Predeceased by his infant sons Edward and Patrick. Survived by his brother Reginald (Sandra), and sister Jaqueline (Ross Peers) and their families. Ed will be remembered as a generous, fun loving and devoted family man.
Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Friday, March 11th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service to celebrate Ed’s life at 1:00 pm.
