Obituary of Hugh W. Martin

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 20, 2018.  Beloved husband of Louise (nee Cournoyer) for 51 years.  Loving father of Andrea (Tony) and Greg (Kara).  Cherished Grampy of Sammy, Ben, Zoe, Teagan, and Logan.  Dear brother of Anne, Maureen and the late Brian, Peter and Terry; dear brother in law of Andre (Agathe), Jacqueline and Denis (the late Ursule).  Hughie will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends in Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto and Florida.  A Celebration Gathering will be held on Thursday, September 27^th from 6:00-8:00pm at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595.  The family will have a celebration gathering in Quebec on October 5, 2018.  In memory of Hughie, donations may be made to Grandview Children’s Centre, Oshawa (www.grandviewkids.ca).  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
