My dearest friend. You were my ear to listen, my shoulder to cry on. You never asked for anything but you gave everything. Always brutally honest you spoke your mind and your truth. You loved with all your heart! I will miss you every moment of every day as I know your children and grandchildren will. Thankyou for being the best part of my life. You lead by example and now I will try to also. Until we meet again. Love Always, Lorraine

Geraldine!!!! If I had known that I would have teased her more. Nora was my dear friend for over 20 years and I couldn't have had a better friend. We met at the worst of times. Cried and laughed together. We could always count on each other in an unspoken way. She was there for me many times. She was the real family mother and put the family ahead of herself. Her honesty, integrity and kindness made her the wonderful person she was. We both lived by say what you mean and mean what you say. (It's an Irish trait)
I was the lucky one to have met her. Friends like this are few and are not replaceable. I will miss her but the warm memories will stay on with me. She told me the only reason she did the treatments was for her family . She did the trip to Ireland for the family! I will miss her! Much love to the family! You had a very special mother and grandmother!

Our family, Kamal, Merle and Stefan share in your grief at this time of sorrow. We remember Nora enjoining a summer evening at Mike and Jill's home last August. She was bubbly and enjoying the BBQ with her glass of wine in hand. Our conversation was mostly about her native Irish background and her country Ireland and the Caribbean where we are from. She left us with memories after that short meeting that will be with us forever. She will surely be missed.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. My mother (her Aunt Tessie) adored Wee Nora. When she came during school holidays she used to get her to stand up, shoulders back, chin up, to sing to her. Nora always chose “Two Little Orphans” but the song was so sad she was never able to finish it, ending up in tears in my mother’s arms.
I hope your tears are tinged with love and happy memories too. Dympna

Nora rest in peace. We all recall those memories of your last visit to Ireland. Although we all knew that there was a strong possibility of not seeing you again we didn't allow that to dampen your stay. You were more than happy to discuss your illness and eventual outcome and in turn put us all at ease always thinking of everyone else. You will be greatly missed by all. Paul, Tracey and family our thoughts are with you all.

To Tracy, Paul and all her Grand Children,
Nora was truly one of kind. She had a huge heart and she gave generously to her family and all her devoted friends. She had the most wonderful sense of humor and could always see the bright side of some not so great situations. Nothing like a good laugh and then carry on. Nora was sharp and perceptive, she would be no ones fool. She was strong and could hold steadfast through some of life's greatest challenges. She was so proud of all of you and I know her passing will leave a huge hole in your lives. I loved her dearly. She will be missed by many. Sincerely, Barb
